Highlights

Achievements:

Managed projects for MCI Billing Department with focus on ROI. Assisted in overseeing new products innovations through Billing and Web-based gateways, including wholesale pre-ordering, ordering, provisioning, billing, and repair/maintenance functionality. Products within the scope include Resale, DID & ISDN. Acted as a liaison and negotiated successfully between the IT and various groups. Forecast and track all financials for the project, both internally and for the client.

Customer Migration Program Management Project
Developed deliverable based customer migration workday estimating tool to support the integration of multiple newly acquired companies. Created detailed service profiles for one of the newly acquired "sister" companies. Profiles included a detailed analysis of the ordering, provisioning, operations, maintenance, and billing of local, long distance, 800, voice mail, Vnet and Voice services.

Achievements:
– Identified over 250 system and operational support defects during test execution.
– Enabled the group to detect potential problems at an early stage and cater systems to market demands and regulatory requirements. Ensured operation and system readiness.
– Partnered with MCI testing division to define and build a permanent internal end to end testing organization.

UNIX Based Client/Server Project

Team Lead for the NY team to design application that provides address and telephone number administration capabilities for direct network users, and negotiation capabilities for wholesale and retail customer service representatives. System is a large-scale client/server application supporting 8,200+ users and running on the Suns Solaris Operating System, Sybase DBMS, Tuxedo and Universal Construction Toolset APLs. Managed a team of 7 in the redesign of a complex service request interface to CITI legacy service order management system. Created detailed work plan for design, code and test phases of development and tracked progress against defined tasks

Other achievements:
– Created highly structured task plan that enabled project to be completed on time and under budget. Led a highly motivated and knowledgeable team, while providing a fresh perspective as to the potential benefits of a redesigned application.
– Coordinated the implementation of a design that employed a unique table-driven approach to service order management. Significantly reduced the number of lines of code and provided increased flexibility during maintenance and new product development
